Connecting the future of Intelligent mobility
2 — 3 June, 2022 Berlin
The event has already occured.
Connected cars are set to have a dramatic impact on both industry and the economy in Europe over the next decade and the biggest direct impact will be on consumers. For instance, current estimates based on the roadmap of AVs in the Europe indicate that connected and automated car deployment can save every commuter nearly 42 hours in travel time, annually. Moreover, commuters stand to benefit from a 20% increase in average commuting speeds per journey due to reduced congestion and smoother traffic flows. As a result, workforce productivity is set to surge. In addition, CAV (Connected and Autonomous Vehicles) implementation will generate revenues across the automotive value chain. New jobs will be created in automotive software and hardware as well as in adjacent industries such as digital and telecom services. These and many more positive impacts will be realised even earlier than anticipated should the regulation in Europe immediately act upon the opportunities.
In the future, car makers won’t simply sell you a Toyota Prius or Tesla. They’ll sell you a version of the vehicle that will be continually updated and improved via wireless software releases. That will require a completely different mindset from the sell-it-and-forget-it approach that is the way car manufacturers at the sales level generally think about cars today. The automaker will be along for the ride with the customer during the entire product lifecycle, continuously improving the product through software updates – because, as anyone in IT knows, software is always evolving.
This conference will give you insight into the latest developments and available solutions for the next generation of connected vehicles.
With our “3rd Annual Global Forum on Connected Cars” you will have an opportunity to join a hybrid event. Which is meant to be even more global with more options to network personally and virtually! No matter if you join us in person or online, we will make sure you will get the best experience of learning and networking!
See you soon!
